Summary
Establishing a data warehouse and business intelligence environment have become a necessity nowadays. Construction of data warehouse projects are considered to be very complex as they combine both organizational and technological challenges. The seminar is intended as a guide through all stages of building a data warehouse and introduction of business intelligence, which is supplemented with practical examples and exercises.

- Data warehouse (concepts)
- Data modeling (modeling concepts, business model, logical model, star, dimensions, fact tables)

Day 2nd
- Data integration (initiatives, approaches, data quality, MDM, mapping)
- Exercises
Day 3rd
- Business Intelligence (concepts, tools, BI Framework, 5 styles of business intelligence, OLAP, reporting, data mining, data visualization)
- Exercises
- Testing (test scripts, test what, who, when, automation)
Seminar will be held by Matej Petrovčič and Uroš Jemec.

Seminar is aimed at everyone involved in the project introduction of a data warehouse or business intelligence: from project managers, database administrators to analysts. The seminar is suitable for beginners who would like to learn how to tackle the project of building the data warehouse.
