Game Changer Ljubljana 3.0

At the Game Changer Ljubljana 3.0 conference, CRMT’s co-founder and CEO, Matej Petrovčič, joined the panel “Challenges of Secure and Effective Data Management in the Age of AI”. Alongside industry peers, Matej explored how companies can treat data as strategic capital while navigating risks such as security breaches and misuse of generative AI. The discussion emphasised the need for responsible, secure data governance, proving that for businesses to truly scale with AI, they must first master the integrity and safety of their data assets.

Why Controller-Management Collaboration is Key

In a recent interview with Finance.si, Jan Markun explains that the bond between controllers and management is vital for success. Data Repatriation and Sovereignty: Building Resilient, AI-Ready Architectures

Data repatriation is accelerating, with 83% of enterprises moving workloads back on-premises to combat rising AI costs and “bill shock”. Driven by the EU AI Act, this shift ensures data ownership and jurisdictional compliance. For leaders, the goal is clear: adopt hybrid models and zero-trust governance to secure your data’s future. Reclaiming control today is the only way to ensure long-term resilience and cost-efficient innovation. Read more.

GenAI Without Data Governance is Exposure: The Universal Semantic Layer

Generative AI risks “hallucinations” when working with fragmented data. A Universal Semantic Layer fixes this by providing a single source of truth, ensuring AI agents use consistent, governed definitions for every metric. This safety layer enforces security, cuts cloud costs, and ensures compliance—turning AI autonomy into a trusted business asset. Read more.
